Terms of Use
By agreeing to the following terms of use you recognize the following:

Inspired Steps reserves the right to refuse service if an individual is unable to meet the requirements to make the trip and who also may require services that Inspired Steps cannot guarantee availability.

Travelers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. If the adult is not the parent of the traveler, then a consent form must be written by the parent or guardian granting the authorization to travel.

Booking

Once you apply to any program, your request will be processed and the Inspired Steps sales staff will send possible itinerary plans. Once they are chosen, an invoice will be sent. In order to confirm a booking, a full payment for the tour must be received. Bookings paid for by bank transfer will not be confirmed until the payment has cleared.


The following fees apply to Explorer Trend Programs (1-day):

Standard Cancellation Fees:
Cancellation made 7 days before departure --- 0% / total price
Cancellation made 6 days or less, or no show --- 100% / total price


The following fees apply to Cultural Immersion Programs:

Standard Cancellation Fees:
Cancellation made by 21 days before the departure --- 0% / total price
Cancellation between 20 and 10 days before the departure --- 20% / Total price
Cancellation between 9 and 3 days before the departure --- 30% / Total price
Cancellation between 2 and the day of the departure --- 50% / Total price
Cancellation after the departure and no show --- 100% / Total price

Certificated Tour Guide Cancellation Fees:
Cancellation 31 day before the departure --- 0% / total price
Cancellation between 30 and 20 days before the departure --- 20% / Total price
Cancellation between 19 and 8 days before the departure --- 50% / Total price
Cancellation between 7 and 3 day of departure --- 80% / Total price
Cancellation 2 days or less, or no show --- 100% / Total price


Inspired Steps reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any vacation departure for any reason, including insufficient demand. If a vacation is canceled prior to departure, The only responsibility of Inspired Steps will be to refund the amount received for the reservation.

Specific Program Information

Summer Immersion Programs are only available in the summer season. Summer programs will proceed when there are 10 or more registrants.

Traveling

Since Inspired Steps cannot delay departures for late arrivals, it is your responsibility to ensure that you can arrive at the arranged transportation times in the itinerary. While we will do our best to accomodate you in the middle of a trip, you are responsible for any extra expenses applicable.

Certain facilities such as museums and shops may not be available during holidays or special events. Alternatives will be arranged whenever possible. Inspired Steps cannot be held responsible for any closures for any reason.

Please be aware while participating in any tours or trips arranged by Inspired Steps, certain risks and dangers may arise that are out of our control, including but not limited to: acts of nature, political unrest, acts of lawlessness, supplier bankruptcies, accident, illness, personal injuries, property damage, or interruptions in transportation. While Inspired Steps will, to the best of its efforts, ensure that adequate safety precautions are taken, by agreeing to participate in any of the trip programs you agree that you assume all the risks and responsibilities surrounding the participation in our tour programs, and understand and agree that Inspired Steps cannot and does not assume responsibility for any such personal injuries or property damages.


Visas, ID's, Insurance

You are responsible to get the appropriate visa and passport to travel within the countries designated in the itinerary. Multiple-entry visas may be required for certain travel programs. It is your responsibility to verify all visa and passport requirements.

Please be sure to carry an original, valid passport as well as other necessary ID documentation with you at all times. You may be refused entry to certain locations (e.g. DMZ) or accomodations if you do not carry a proper ID.

Travel insurance is required and we recommend one that protects you and your investment before or during your trip while covering the costs of trip cancellations, interruptions, illness, injury, or emergency assistance. Baggage insurance is not required but recommended as it can protect you from loss or theft of baggage.
