Seonunsa is one of the most beautiful temples in Korea. Built in the year 577 (and rebuilt after the Japanese invasion), this temple is surrounded by an impressive scenery. Visitors will find a camellia forest behind the main hall of the temple with trees that are roughly 500 years old. This forest has been designated by South Korea as a natural monument and it’s a popular spot during spring, when flowers bloom in vibrant colors.
